"The climate crisis is a very real thing that as a species we must address. Everyone needs a home but the vast majority of our homes are not eco-friendly and sustainable. The Impact I want to make as part of this team is to deliver energy efficient, long-standing, sustainable homes."

"The relationship between the Landlord and occupier is changing, as businesses are looking to find a home that is increasingly aspirational and experience-led; a perfect platform for growth, if you will. Businesses are also looking at their supply-chain choices, which means aligning themselves with partners which share common values. "The current climate emergency and the need to achieve cleaner, greener growth is something I hold in the highest importance. Focusing on the 20% that makes the 80% difference is an approach that is regularly used in our company, as it is within the Environment Agency and its values.

Impact Offices are built to make a positive impact on the world, by considering the environment using sustainable materials and local suppliers, wherever possible. I am proud to work for a company that positively influences the green growth of the community".

"Absenteeism due to mental health costs UK businesses £8.4bn a year, I'm lucky to work for a company that genuinely cares about the mental and physical wellbeing of staff, and our clients. An example of how Impact Working do this is by offering fortnightly yoga sessions and allowing dogs in the office which has been proven to have a positive impact on mental health".

In 2021, that lesson reinforces the view that a long-term, sustainable approach centered around strong environmental and social governance (ESG) principles is more important than ever".

1) I will aim to procure our requested lines from companies who are emphasising their green credentials and make this a talking point during the negotiation stage.

2) When buying powered items I will focus on brands that demonstrate a greater energy efficiency, if you take motors for an example I would look for those designated with an IE4 rating

3) With disposal of used / broken items I will source companies who have an environmentally responsible approach with traceability.
