Marketing Director


London - Canary Wharf (Flexible / Hybrid)



IMPACT CAPITAL GROUP have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced, passionate and creative individual to join the IMPACT Team as our new Marketing Director.


We are searching for a Marketing, Brand and Design specialist to lead and grow the department, someone with the ability to hit the ground running, someone who is experienced, dedicated and willing to be hands-on.


Managing the Brand, Marketing and Design strategies, executions, and analytics for 5 companies with more on the horizon, alongside sub-brands, setting and controlling allocated budgets, spend forecasting, performance and financial reports.

Currently managing a team of 1, a breakdown of role activities across all 5 companies includes:


Research and regular online monitoring of activities. Devising and overlooking the brand, marketing, digital and social media strategies, their execution, and analytics. Website design, SEO-driven content, and maintenance. Email design (HTML), execution and analytics. SEO enabling. Management of online reviews and profiles. Internal communications and driving employee branding and engagement.


Research, ordering and keeping track of companywide branded merchandise. Designing marketing collateral for professional printing, large-scale print design. Designing, organising, and monitoring print advertising. Keeping company marketing collateral up to date.


Organising company events to host clients, team-building and public engagement. Organising attendance to industry exhibitions (including logistics, stand design, etc.)


Proposing and maintaining memberships and accreditations for relevant industry. Proposing, creating and submitting for relevant awards.


Writing Press Releases and content for industry titles including columns and feature articles. Distributing content for publishing to relevant titles. Sourcing new PR opportunities.  


Forming and maintaining CSR relationships. Proposing relevant sponsorship opportunities which adhere to set budgets. Organising company events which answer to company values.



  • Strong understanding of SEO and social media trends and algorithms
  • Working knowledge of Social Media Management system such as Hootsuite
  • Understanding of consumer psychology, brand archetypes and user cohorts
  • Ability to wireframe and create prototypes (UI/UX)
  • Understanding of flexbox and CSS grids
  • Ability to create content management systems (CMS) in Drupal
  • Ability to perform A-B testing
  • Ability to create and maintain Design Systems
  • Ability to create user personas and userflows/taskflows
  • Knowledge of industry standard design frameworks
  • Ability to create HTML emails
  • Ability to create vector artwork including signage and large format graphics
  • Ability to analyse data and make executive decisions
  • Ability to create Brands from concept to completion
  • Strong understanding of lithographic and digital print
  • Ability to negotiate best quality and best rate from suppliers
  • Budget and spend forecasting
  • Making executive decisions on marketing strategies
  • Financial Reporting
  • Ability to confidently present, defend and justify strategies to high level stakeholders
  • Ability to present ideas at a high level
  • High level of English
  • Ability to write engaging content
  • Videography- ability to use filming equipment and edit videos
  • Experience in delivering ESG and CSR initiatives at high level
  • Willingness to occasionally work after hours at short notice
  • Proven track record of working in high pressure environments
  • Ability to hit the ground running and work hands-on
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Ability to organise large-scale and small-scale events including diary management
  • Managing, building, and segmenting a CRM database
  • Ability to create visually dynamic PowerPoint presentations
  • Strong portfolio to demonstrate all of the above


  • Understanding of the Planning System (i.e. Section 106)
  • Understanding of the Financial Sector
  • Up-to-date and aware of current affairs
  • A strong cultural and geo-political interest
  • Interior Design skills
  • Experience with marketing aspects of debt and equity fundraising
  • Experience Marketing Sales and Rental properties
  • ESG enthusiast



  • Must be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Must be proficient in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver/Visual Studio Code, Premier Pro, Premier Rush)
  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
